There was a thread earlier for reviews on external interfaces (USB/Firewire) but the discussion went only to the extent of Edirol. I have a 64 Bit vista running on Laptop and went through various sites for customer reviews on various other interface (Tascam 122L, Tascam 144, Lexicon, Presonus) and found mixed reviews on compatability/latency when it came to 64 bit vista.
I am interested to get an interface primarily for vocal recording (mixing it with karaoke track played on my laptop) and may be sometimes guitar, so I needed something with 2 XLR inputs, guitar input, headphone o/p at a minimum. Has anyone tried any of these products and share some experiences or recommend something which will work with no compatibility or latency issues. I have 2.1 Ghz/4 GB ram.
