I am having a problem after I have downloaded my music into Audacity 1.2.6a from a tape player. I entered it into Audacity in one complete track. I have broken the music up into individual tracks using the label feature. When I want to move it to my MAC OSX Leopard iTunes 8.2.1 this is where the problem arrises. I go up to the "FILE-EXPORT MULTIPLE" & press the export button. I then get a screen pop open which says: Message
Cannot export audio to /Users/our name/itunes/ a Bras.wav then I press "OK" Button & another screen pops up and says:
Export Multiple
Successfully exported 0 files I then press "OK" button.
The project rate is at 44100 & Uncompressed Export format is WAV (Microsoft 16 bit PCM) & channels is set to 2 (stereo). My tile labels are in all capital letters. I have also placed an a-y before each track so it would be easier to pick up in iTunes to keep it as a package when I view it in iTunes. The music all plays in the Audacity program.
What would anyone suggest?? Anything would be helpful.
Can not "EXPORT Multiple" to iTunes

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
Mac 0S X 10.3 and earlier are no longer supported but you can download legacy versions of Audacity for those systems HERE.

Re: Can not "EXPORT Multiple" to iTunes
Itunes folders are protected and controlled. I would export to Some Place Else, Select them all, and Open With...iTunes.
You seem to have done everything else perfectly. Pay attention to the file sizes inside iTunes. If your music arrives compressed -- way too small a filesize, change the Import specifications in iTunes prefeferences to WAV Auto and do it again.
After you get your Music CD production done, change iTunes preferences back to compressed (I use iTunes Plus) and convert the music to that. That will give you a perfect copy for the Music CD and a very good compressed copy for your iPod.

Thanks Koz! Your suggestion worked great. It did exactly as you said it would. You helped me save 1 hour 1/2's work of music to iTunes. Greatly appreciate!!
