RMS Normalize

Help for Audacity on Windows.

RMS Normalize

I have Audacity 2 2 2 and Windows 10. I need to download RMS Normalize as I need to edit an audio book. Can you help please.

Audacity 2.4.2 has Loudness Normalization built in.

Fair warning, you still have to be able to read out load. ACX Check only simulates the technical test and you still have to pass the human theatrical test. We can't do that one in software.

Update to Audacity 2.4.2 and use "Loudness Normalization" with "RMS" selected as the type of normalization (See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/lou ... ation.html)
