Cutting and Pasting

Post by TJB » Mon Nov 16, 2020 2:35 pm

I know I'm doing something wrong when I try to replace a word or phrase. Here's what I've been doing: I would use the CLIP BOUNDARIES by clicking in front of the phrase to be changed. I would then record the new phrase. Once that's done, I would cut the new phrase, return to the section I'm working on and hit PASTE.
And voila, that 'seemed' to work' ... except now the pasted section does not meet ACX standard and is thus unusable.

So the basic question is ' how do I cut and paste and retain the same audio recording standards as in the rest of the recording ???
