Help for a newbie please

Post by Zevon » Sat Jul 11, 2009 1:27 pm

Hi Guys,

I want to use Audacity for my pub quiz, how do I pick the parts of music tracks that I want to use and then burn them to a disc. (Like an i-tunes playlist)

Thanks in advance.

Find the beginning of a clip that you want, and set a label, Control-B, then find the end of the clip, and put another label, Control-B. The labels become sticky or magnetic and let you drag-select your clip accurately.

File > Export Selection > WAV format.

Put the exported WAV file into the burning and authoring program of your choice. Audacity doesn't burn anything.
