Stability on Catalina?
Current Mac Version 10.14.6
Audacity Version 2.3.2
I'm an Audacity donor and VO talent and love Audacity but have been reluctant to update the Catalina as my current version of Audacity does not work on Catalina. I cannot afford to experiment or do work arounds. Is version 2.4.1 rock solid to download for Catalina? Thanks, - Pete

Re: Stability on Catalina?
2.3.2 works...
Are you super sure about that?

Crosses in support was the reason 2.4.1 was rushed out.
If you're on Mojave or High Sierra, I'd probably stay there for a while.

Re: Stability on Catalina?
Thanks KOZ. I made the mistake of upgrading to Catalina and then discovered 2.3.2 did not work on Catalina so I had to cancel booked work to spend a day getting Mojave back. I think I'll stay with Mojave awhile longer as I can't afford to be down another day. Thanks for your input.
Re: Stability on Catalina?
The recommended version for Catalina is now Audacity 2.4.2 https://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac/

Re: Stability on Catalina?
You're right, 2.3.2 won't access the microphone but otherwise runs.
