HI ALL,
Been using Audacity for years as my beloved, cool Dad turned me on to it...
Anyway, my problem -- I just upgraded my MACOS to Catalina 10.15.5 and then upgraded Audacity to 2.4.1
Everything "looks" right and i tested a recording and got "crazy waves" (hard to describe/ super noisy) see the photo.
I don't know what the problem is ... I am not super tech-savvy so any "simple" advice would be soo appreciated so i can
get my Audacity back up and running. Thank you!!!

Re: CRAZY "WAVES" RECORDING
i may have fixed it! I clicked off "Software Playthrough" On/ Off under "Transport Options..."
This is a big relief! I'll continue to update if this is NOT the case though it sound perfect now.
Thanks AUDACITY. I truly love you!!
