Can't enable plugins

Post by Dbissett » Wed Jun 03, 2020 5:55 am

Hi, I am using Audacity 2.4.1 on Linux Mint. The dialog box for plugins shows each plugin twice and they cannot be enabled. Hit the enable button, shows as enabled until I close the box. The plugin doesn't show and still says disabled in the box when I check. Any ideas? Thanks.

The ubuntuhanbook1 PPA build is broken.
I'd suggest that you:

1) Completely remove "audacity" and "audacity-data" packages.
2) Remove or disable the ubuntuhanbook1 PPA from your sources.
3) Reinstall the older version of Audacity from the main Ubuntu repository.
4) Report the problem to the PPA maintainer.
