Noise Gate - V2.4.1

Help for Audacity on macOS.

Please state which version of macOS you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Audacity menu > About Audacity".

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the 1.2.x and 1.3.x forums.

Noise Gate - V2.4.1

Hello,

I know that I read something about a change to the Noise Gate plug-in for Audacity but I can't seem to find that post. After installing 2.4.1 I now have two active versions of noisegate.ny. They seem to be the same but have different parameter settings. I have tried both and they work, but which to disable? I have included a screenshot of my plug-in page to show their installation path.

Any help would be welcome, also a link to the changes made to the plugin.

Disable the one in "/Users/..."

To check that I've said the right one, open the remaining Noise Gate effect and click on:
"Manage button > About"
and it should say:
"Version: 2.4.0" (that's when it was last updated).
