Recording sound being played on Computer

Help for Audacity on Windows.

Recording sound being played on Computer

Windows 10 Pro audacity 14.1

Some time ago I recorded some sound that was being played by the computer on audacity just by pressing the record button, this does not happen now.

Or do you have to do it a different way

Use WASAPI (loopback) as your recording device.
