Updating my Mac to Catalina

Post by cathsing1 » Sat Apr 11, 2020 3:20 pm

Hi, I have a Macbook Pro, version 10.14.6 macOS Mojave. I would like to update to the Catalina but I'm very worried that I won't be able to access my Audacity 2.3.3.I use this solely to transfer tracks from Itunes and transpose keys/pitch/tempo and then transfer back. These are all backing tracks for my students, as I am a teacher. please can anyone tell me if it will still work thereafter? Thank you.

As I write this, Catalina doesn't support Audacity.

Audacity is not fully supported by Catalina (though workarounds are available).

Audacity 2.4.0 is due to be released early next month, and it fixes the Catalina problems. If it's practical to do so, I would recommend waiting until Audacity 2.4.0 is released before updating to Catalina.
