Hi y'all,
I have read an older thread outlining problems using this same device (watts tape to digital converter (a generic USB Cassette Capture device) and attempted all the fixes to no success.
Audacity recognises the USB Cassette Capture device as "USB PnP Audio Device". It doesn't recognise it using the audio cable.
Also recognised in Audio MIDI setup. The default format is 48,000Hz so I have changed the Audacity settings to that, however, it is still not registering any sound waves in the monitoring/ recording meter and so any attempt at recording comes up without any sound.
Any tips for me? I'm trying to convert a cassette of my Grandmother's piano composition to audio file.
Mac OS Catalina, Audacity 2.3.3 and watts Tape to Digital converter (USB Cassette Capture)
