I am not getting any waveform when I record.
I am recording narration on an iMac (Mac OSX 10.14.6 on Mojave), using a USB mic (ATR 2100).
I have gone through all the troublehooting info, checked my Apple mic set up, Audio Midi Set Up and have relaunched Audacity.
When I record I still get no waveform, the microphone is being picked up but there is no waveform and when I playback, I have to turn the volume up full to hear it - the quality of sound is really poor too.
Can you give me any other suggestions please?
