tracks move along jerkily
I was using an Audacity project and it was moving along normally. Suddenly the track started moving along in jerks. I tried a different pre-recorded file and still the jerks were there. I tried to open a new file, recorded some words but the same problem was there. I then re-installed Audacity but still the jerking is there. I use Windows 10 and I have a new desktop computer. Please advise. Thank you.

Re: tracks move along jerkily
Hi, I had the same problem that drove me crazy for days. Now, this may not be your problem but I changed the batteries in my wireless mouse and it fixed the problem straight away. Maybe worth checking your keyboard or mouse to see if they are the source of the problem.
