I am running Audacity 2.3.1 on Mac OS 10.14.6. Very often it seems I just brush the top of my mouse and the waveform display shifts vertically. How do I get it back to normal?
A screen shot of the shifted display is attached below.

Re: Cursor control issue
That's an old version. The current version is 2.3.2 and is available via the Audacity website: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac/
I'm not sure how you are doing that.
In Audacity 2.3.2 (I'm not sure if this is the same in 2.3.1), you can right click on the vertical track ruler, and select "Zoom Reset" (see: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/aud ... html#scale)

Re: Cursor control issue
Thanks. It always seems when I am looking at documentation I stop just short of the answer. A right click on the ruler doesn't work -- but a ctl-click does. (It helps to read the WHOLE sentence.) And this is in 2.3.1.
I was aware that I was behind a version on Audacity, but per the release notes I wasn't missing anything relevant to my own uses. And I thought I might as well wait for 2.3.3. I believe that is in beta, and will allow me also to upgrade to Catalina. Correct?

Re: Cursor control issue
Audacity 2.3.3 is due to be release very soon. Unfortunately there was not time to fix the Catalina problems in Audacity 2.3.3, but we are hoping to release Audacity 2.4.0 about 3 months after 2.3.3, and we hope to have the Catalina problem solved in 2.4.0.
