Workaround: just create a little project that just has your "preferred" noise in it - then you can always open that up first grab your noise profile wnd then Ctrl+N (or Cmd+N for Macophytes) to open a new project - carrying that noise profile with you.

While remembering that the quality of noise reduction is highly dependent on how closely the noise profile matches the actual noise in the track that you are processing.

I'm thinking about the audiobook recorded for weeks on the same microphone in the same room on a laptop you have to move regularly for your day job.While remembering that the quality of noise reduction is highly dependent on how closely the noise profile matches the actual noise in the track that you are processing.
