Declicker crashes on 1 hour of audio.
When I use the Declicker plugin "DeClicker.ny" ("nyquist plug-in version 3") it crashes if the audio file is over 1 hour long.
Audacity simply shuts down at about the 70% mark.
I've tried on multiple computers
Here is my log after shutdown.
Anyone got any ideas?

Re: Declicker crashes on 1 hour of audio.
See: https://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyqu ... t_Plug-ins
The workaround would be to process the track in sections.
However, "Declicker" does not appear to be one of the "published" plug-ins.Some Nyquist plug-ins are unsuitable for processing long audio tracks. If a plug-in causes excessive memory use and causes Audacity to freeze or crash when used on long tracks, please let us know so that we can either limit the plug-in to short selections or add a note to the plug-in description so as to warn other users of the possibility.

Re: Declicker crashes on 1 hour of audio.
oh bummer
any can recommend an alternative declicker / anti-mouth noise audacity plugin?

Re: Declicker crashes on 1 hour of audio.
Why not process the audio in sections as suggested? If the plug-in works OK for you with half the track, process that, then select the second half of the track and process that.

Re: Declicker crashes on 1 hour of audio.
Acon's DeClicker plugin works* in Audacity, but it's not free.
( The demo version inserts silence every ~30 seconds )

Re: Declicker crashes on 1 hour of audio.
I could cut it up
But it's 10 hours of audio in 16 chapters and i'd have to do a lot of cutting and stitching

Do you know if this one has been tested on LONG audio files.
e.g will it work on audiobook tracks?
EDIT: Oh this is a VST plugin ya?
Re: Declicker crashes on 1 hour of audio.
Really need an audacity "mouth noise" remover--that is like DeClicker.ny but can work on long audio files.

Re: Declicker crashes on 1 hour of audio.
No need to cut it up. Just:
- select the first half of the track (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/aud ... ction.html)
- Apply the effect
- Select the second half of the track
- Apply the effect

It takes about an hour to process each slice. So i'd have to babysit the laptop for several days doing this for one audiobook.
