Nyquist Pluggin Not Showing In Menu List

Post by mszlazak » Mon Jun 08, 2009 1:34 am

Is my .ny file in the Plug-Ins folder suppose to show up in Audacity's "Effect" drop down list?
I saved the following .ny file but "My Fade In" doesn't show up on the drop down list.

;nyquist plug-in
;version 1
;type process
;name "My Fade In"
;action "My Fading In..."
(mult (ramp) s)

Uh...do you have multiple instances of AUdacity installed? The reason I ask is, I just yesterday realized that the copy of Audacity I use all the time is installed in a sub-directory of a previous Audacity installation. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why plugins wouldn't show up in Audacity. So I am pretty much going to have to uninstall the whole deal and then re-install one of the versions. I think the original was 1.3.2 and the new one that I use is 1.3.4 and now I can't remember why I had both and yadda yadda. Guess I'll figure it out somehow.

:D I shouldn't laugh, I've done that myself at it's really confusing 'till you realise what you've done.
I'd guess that mszlazak is OK now as the message was posted a long time ago.
