Audacity 1.3.7 playback stops

Audacity is 1.3.7 built from the fullsource distribution. The system is OpenSuSE Linux 11.1.

I can play back project files, but after some period of time the playback will just stop. The icons still indicate that it's playing, and I can select the stop button and the play button again to restart it, but until I do that, there is no audio actually being played and the screen is no longer scrolling.

You may be able top work around this by zooming out to show the full project, thus eliminating the screen scrolling.
