Feature Suggestion

Not sure if I'm in the right area of the forum for such, but I had a suggestion for possible development in the future, and that is to develop a way once someone has established certain effects they like (i.e.: bass & treble, reverb, etc...) that all of what was built by the user could be easily applied all at once by way of "Favorites" or "Pre-built presets" instead of right now, having to go into each effect and while those settings are applied, we still have to go into each effect and apply them to the tracks. Hope this makes sense?

Terrific idea.

We have Chains, now I think called Tools > Macros. It's the batch manager where you can line up a bunch of effects and filters and apply them in one swipe as many times as you wish. Some effects and processes don't lend themselves to Macros, but I believe most do.

Apology is not necessary. Audacity has so many features that we don't expect users to be aware of all of them - that's one of the main reasons for this forum
