When I load up an mp3 file, Audacity just "zips" thru the file in about 1/2 second, no matter the length of the file. I've not had this happen before. Am running Windows 8.1 here.
This is the case no matter what MP3 file I try to play.
Also, it looks like the file is amplified - is overloaded as far as height of the "peaks" throughout the file.
Help!
