Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

Mac 0S X 10.3 and earlier are no longer supported but you can download legacy versions of Audacity for those systems HERE.

How do you mix two or more songs together using Audacity?
How do you play a song backwards?

<<<How do you play a song backwards?>>>

In Audacity 1.3 you might try selecting the song and Effect > Speed Change > -100%. That's Minus one hundred percent. Or use one of the other duration tools like that. It doesn't work in Audcity 1.2, but yours might.

That's too open ended a question. You want to play two different songs at the same time? What's the final goal?

Where did the songs come from? You singing into a microphone?

Interesting left-field thought Koz - but there's a much easier way... 1.2.x and 1.3.x have an effect called Reverse

@shroud - just select the whole project (use the keyboard shortcut CRL+A) and then use Effect > Reverse

Put the first song on a timeline and then Tracks > Add New. Paste the second song into the second timeline. They will both play together subject to the Solo and Mute buttons on left.

After you get it there, you can use all the timeline manipulation tools like Align and Time Shift as well as all the filter tools applied to each song individually.

If you generated all the work yourself, then this should all go forward with no problem. If you got the work from the internet, chances of success are almost zero because this process tends to fall apart unless the individual songs are the same technical specification. That can be changed, too, but it's more involved.
