Difficulty Selecting Clips

Hi there, I am still somewhat a novice to Audacity, but recently I think it updated on my computer but update is causing issues. I used to select a clip to edit or cut by pointing at one end of the clip and then pointing at the other and selecting, however now because of this measure option (if that is what it is) is stopping my ability to select the clip.

Any idea how to remove this? It was not there on earlier versions.

You have inadvertently enabled the "multi-tool" (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/multi_tool.html)
To go back to the normal "selection tool", either click the "I cursor" button, or press F1 (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/selection_tool.html)
