Why do I have to change the host after recording in order to hear playback?
Currently I am digitizing a surround sound 5.1 audio DVD. My speakers in win7 are configured correctly for 5.1 audio. For recording I use the host Windows WASAPI, playback and recording set to my sound card, and 6 channels. When I go to play it back I get an error opening sound device.

Re: Host, device problem
Because it won't playback using the same host/device settings - that is what I'm saying - I get the error if I try to play the sound back after recording.
