I have two tracks from a single recording. One has only been through post-processing, the other is the post-processing track with additional cuts made and then reprocessed because the person making the cuts is an idiot and doesn't understand compression. I have about 50 such tracks. What I want to do is visualize the cuts in Audacity.
This is more or less the effect I am trying to achieve. Does a way exist to automate this process?
Compare two tracks for cut content?

Re: Compare two tracks for cut content?
I don't know that I understand what the goal is. We can't take effects out of a track.
We can't recognize the characteristics of one track and map it to another if there is any difference at all between the two songs. It's even worse if the two are MP3 or other compressed format.
