Volume in 3.1.3

I just updated my Audacity to this version and whenever I bring audio into Audacity is lower the volume automatically. It did not do this in previous versions just with the current one. I recorded it at the desired level that I need but when I stopped recording the track automatically lower itself to a much lower volume. And other audio files that I recorded in the past, when I bring those over, it lowers those automatically as well. Is this a bug or some setting that I need to fix?

So I can't think of any reason why Audacity would be lowering your volume. Perhaps someone with Mac experience might to speak to this.
