Audacity Forum

Hi,

I installed Audacity 1.2.4 on a Mandriva: at start of the program I get the following:

`Error initializing Audio
There was an error initializing the audio i/o layer...`

Obviously (?) the link to my sound card (my PC is an Acer Aspire serie) is not established (?) but I could not find where to?

Audacity 1.2.4 is ancient - if that is the latest version available for Mandriva you may need to build Audacity 1.3.5 from the source code.
