Sur la version française 2.4.2 chez moi (MacOS Big Sur sur Mac Mini 2021 Apple Silicon) il n’y a pas de marques pour savoir les options du menu “flèche verte vers le bas” sont actifs ou non. Est-ce général ?

On the French 2.4.2 version (Mac mini Apple Silicon), no check marks in the menu “green down arriw” (quick play menu). Anyone else ?

The 2.4.2 version runs smoothly on this Mac under Big Sur, with Focusrite 2i2 attached.

Same problem with version 3. No check marks in any menu, no arrow indicating that there is a submenu, etc.

As you know, you are the only one using Audacity that has reported this problem so far. However, there appear to be reports of a similar issue with the wxWidgets software package, which is incorporated into Audacity.

The problem seems to be related to certain locale settings other than English, specifically German, French, and Russian. It has been reported to occur with Mac OS 11.1, 11.2, and 11.3 (beta). I do not know if it is specifically an M1 issue.

I have reported this issue to our developers on your behalf. However, I do not anticipate an overnight fix.
