Depuis quelques temps j’ai un souci avec mes mp3 créés sous Audacity.
J’enregistre des vinyles et j’importe les morceaux en mp3 sur iTunes. Lorsque je les lis avec iTunes sur le Mac pas de problème, mais sur l’iPhone les morceaux s’arrêtent au bout de quelques dizaines de secondes.
J’ai essayé plein de trucs. J’ai installé des anciennes versions avec Lame 3.97, mais ça ne change rien.
Quelqu’un a déjà eu ce problème ?

It’s a new Iphone SE 2020. IOS 14.4.1
It looks like problem comes from IOS. I tried with an old Iphone 4 IOS 7, and it works well.
I didn’t have this problem with my old Iphone SE, I don’t remember the IOS.
The strange thing is that the problem comes only with new files. Old ones made with old versions of Audacity and Lame 3.97 work well.
So I installed Adacity 2.1 with Lame 3.97, but it’s the same.
Most of the time the songs stops between 40 sec and 1 min. Depending of the song.
Some stop, some not.
Anybody have the same problem ?
Perhaps the old iPhone bug has returned in new iPhones.
Try creating an MP3 with “Constant” bit rate selected. Does that work?
(Audacity now uses presets which are “Variable bit-rate” by default because the it provides better optimisation than “Constant”).
