What about adding full keyboard shortcut support to all menu items?

There's not enough sensible key combinations for "all" menu items.
Also, users can add plug-ins which appear in the menus, and may want to add custom shortcuts for those.

The default set of keyboard bindings was deliberately kept small enough to leave some sensible key combinations available for user defined shortcuts.
A larger, more comprehensive set of key bindings can also be selected: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/key ... ences.html

Using version 3.2 on Windows 11 PC.

Have a clarification question on installing Nyquist plugins. Release notes state that plugins will now automatically get scanned, tested and enabled when Audacity starts. So, will this be the only method of installing Nyquist plugins? Will Nyquist Plugin Installer under Tools menu be going away?

I have tried using the Nyquist Plugin Installer while using 3.2. After downloading the plugin, then installing the plugin with the Nyquist Plugin Installer tool, the plugins do not appear in the Plugin Manager for enabling. The only way they appear is after restarting Audacity. Is this a bug? Or will the only way to install Nyquist plugins be to download first, then open Audacity?

I don't have that information. Perhaps @LWinterberg may know?

I wondered the same thing. I logged it as a bug here: https://github.com/audacity/audacity/issues/2967
It has since been added by the development team to this section: "For things that are not a "must" for 3.2 but ok for a patch release"
