Never mind - I logged in and got the file

Re: Features of 3.2
It's probably not worth trying the alpha version at the moment as there are several unfinished features and bugs that need to be fixed before 3.2.0 is ready. I don't think there's much new that is usable yet.

Thanks Steve - do you know what the difference is between the two versions:
- audacity-win-3.2.0-alpha-20220422+74b333b-x64-msvc2019.zip
- audacity-win-3.2.0-alpha-20220422+74b333b-x64-msvc2022.zip

Re: Features of 3.2
I think the only difference is that they are built with different compilers. msvc2022 is the latest version from Microsoft, but I don't think it is widely adopted yet.

Please update this thread when the picture becomes clearer. It's useful information for the forum elves. In particular, when Audacity 3.2.0 gets close to "release ready", we can let people that want to "beta test" know about it. (and when there's an "official" release candidate, I'll add a global announcement to the forum - or you can LWinterberg if you prefer.)
