Anyone have any help with why my audio recordings are suddenly hissing where they weren’t before?
Haven’t changed anything. Checked cables etc.

Record a ten second voice test and post it. Make sure it has the error.

Ah. I changed the recording volume to halfway and it seems to have solved the problem.
It passes the Acx check again now.
It was on a quarter volume before on the Scarlett solo. (Must have knocked the volume by accident)
Didn’t think it would make that much of a profound difference but it did!
Still need to get rid of a slight computer fan noise. I’ve bought some carpet underlay which has a Db rating that should cover the noise when it arrives according to the Db of my fan.
I’ll post again with a sample when I’ve hammered the unsightly thing to the walls!
