V 2.3.0 and plug-ins

Post by daloan » Mon Oct 01, 2018 7:37 pm

I'll be downloading and trying the new version later tonight but in the meantime I'm wondering whether my plug-ins and add-ons will work with 2.3.0.

I'm using RMS Normalize, Spitfish de-esser, and ACX Check. Anybody know whether these will still work?

They should do, but to be on the safe side, make a backup copy of your plug-ins before installing.
In the worst case, you can always go back to Audacity 2.2.2 (available from http://www.oldfoss.com/Audacity.html)
