This video recounts in detail the steps (Audacity plugins) I use to bring an amateur voice recording to ACX standards and remove typical clicks, pops and mouth sounds.
Windows 10, a $250 Shure PG42 USB microphone, and the latest iteration of Audacity.
The post-production sequence was developed by trial and error.
Feel free to correct it, eliminate the unnecessary, and improve the result.

I'll be paying a visit. We have no set process for mouth noises and other voice quality issues.
