Remove and/or prevent Honky/Horse spots from audio

Post by kescraig » Wed Oct 19, 2016 5:30 am

I'm a newbie to podcasting and editing audio in general. I have been getting subtle honky sound spots throughout my last few tracks. Maybe 30-50 times in a 35 min track. Its subtle but it sounds like a pig. Is there a way to remove or reduce and how do I prevent it in the future (better mic technique, etc.) thanks

IMO the most conspicuous fault is the click on "Saints". The DeClicker plugin here will remove it ...
You could try not talking directly at the mic, but at a point a few inches over/under it,
e.g. with the mic at eye-level or throat-level , not mouth level.
