how do you record on multtracks with a maono lite with two mics on audacity
I don’t know anything about that device. Most regular mixers (or USB mixers) have a “pan” knob on each input so you can pan between left & right so you pan one left and one right and record in stereo. I don’t think you have a pan knob, but if it comes with it’s own software there MAY be a software setting.
Typically with spoken voice, both mics would be re-panned to the center (or near the center) in the “final production”.
Multi-tracking (more than 2-channels) normally requires a multi-channel interface instead of a mixer (with mixing done later in software). Although, some higher-end USB mixers can double as multi-channel interfaces. And, Audacity often has trouble with more than 2 channels.
