The attached seven second audio was recorded as part of a conversation using Skype or something. I don’t even have the vocabulary to describe what’s wrong, but I’d call it burbly or warbly. My side of the conversation sounds fine. The attached file does not.
I rather doubt it, but if anyone has an idea how to improve this in post production with Audacity, I would much appreciate it. For that matter, I’d even appreciate someone telling me what the name for this sort of distortion is! “Ah well, we call that sort of thing scrogginsed. There be no fixing scrogginisation!”
