Hi All,
I just started and cannot figure out what is wrong. I am using Audacity and the Steinberg UR22MKII. I have a Shure SM58 dynamic mic and the Phantom +48v turned on. The mic is plugged in and when i speak, I can hear my self through the powered monitor speakers attached to the UR22MkII.
The USB light is as and the UR22 is connected to my PC. I can hear music from the Window 10 computer.
In Audacity, I have the mic selected as Line (Steinberg UR22Mk II) and Mono recording selected. Playback is also through the Steinberg.
When I record, NOTHING is shown in the monitor and no sound is recorded at all. Same as if I have no mic attached.
On the Steinberg, Input gain is at 7 pr 9
Mix is 50 / 50 between Input and DAW. Even if set to 100% nothing happens
Output is at 40%.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
