WAVES VST Plugins not showing up on AUDACITY

OKAY So I installed WAVES ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS EQ VST last week,

I just bought the WAVES C4 Compressor and it won’t show up on my new PLUGINS List , what is wrong ?

I even copied the C4 .DLL to the audacity list and won’t still enable right.

Even if you have a 64-bit operating system, Audacity only accepts 32-bit versions of plugins.
Also not all VSTs are compatible with Audacity: some don’t work properly in Audacity even if enabled.

Gmulti is a free muti(3)band compressor which works in Audacity in Windows.

Looks like I wasted $29 this isn’t loading right or works with AUDACITY ,

Well the COMPRESS you suggested looks like it has all the elements I am looking for .

Thanks.

it works now ,

Online Staff told me this.

Press the [Win Key] + R, type in %appdata% and hit Enter.
Go to Waves Audio and drag the Preferences folder to your desktop (this folder can be removed after troubleshooting is over).
Launch AUDACITY, create a new session with a Supported Sample Rate and try to load your Waves plugins.

Audacity plugins folder did recently move from …

C:\Program Files\Audacity\Plug-Ins

to

C:\Users\<YourNameHere>\AppData\Roaming\audacity\Plug-Ins

Just wanted to give an update to this idea.

This is how I get it to work.

Press the [Win Key] + R, type in %appdata% and hit Enter.
Go to Waves Audio and drag the Preferences folder to your desktop (this folder can be removed after troubleshooting is over).

COPY AND PASTE Every WAVES Related Plug In named Folder inside the

Audacity APPDATA Roaming Plugins Folder , Not the Plugins Folder that you find in the regular audacity program files folder in PROGRAM 86X or 64X
