Hi all. This is probably the dumbest Audacity question, but I am currently banging my head against the wall.
I record very simple guitar and voice folk songs, but sometimes like to add tracks to layer in extra recordings of my voice / guitar. When I add a second track after recording my first and try to record to the new track, Audacity keeps resuming recording at the end of my first track. Even after I highlight the new track and confirm I have it selected, the recording will just jump to the end of the first track I created.
Does anyone know what the setting is that controls this? I never had this come up using Audacity in the past. Thanks so much!
