Tutorials or help on cleaning up iPhone recording of old reed organ

Greetings, all

I hope this is the right place to post this question.

During the lockdown here in South Africa, I have decided to play and record my 1880’s reed organ. I have recorded a video, but when I record the sound only, it seems a bit tinny.

I have tried to use Audacity to clean it up a little. The noise reduction works well, and I have fattened the low end quite pleasingly. However, I cannot for the love of music get rid of some severe clicks - I just don’t know how they work or how to use them.

I have messed around with high pass and low pass filters, and I have managed to find where the most severe sources of noise are. But I don’t want to get rid of too much top end, for then the recording sounds muffled.

Where can I find some good step-by-step instructions on how to identify and remove clicks, and improve the sound of the recording? Yes, I know the iPhone is not the ideal sound recording device, but it’s what I’ve got for now.

Thank you

P.S.

I have considered uploading the original recording, with some recordings with extra steps I have performed. But I would first have to know that that would be OK to do.
