I have two recordings of a school orchestra, one of a rehearsal and one of the performance.
There were some errors in the performance which were not in the rehearsal (and visa versa!) What I want to do is to copy the correct bars from the rehearsal and insert them into the performance. Each recording is two-track stereo. Is there any way to have both tracks open independently of each other (to toggle from one track to the other) so that I can extract fragments from the rehearsal and insert them into the performance? I just cannot find any discussion about doing that.
Not sure if what you mean is that you need to “see” the waveforms of both sound sequences at the same time, but if that’s what you want, use the import function to open both, you will see them at the same time but independent.
