Hello everyone!

I would like to know if it is possible to achieve a pan effect where the sound (stereo track) can switch between the right and left side. That is, every moment in a short time the sound would be on one side like a “vision” passing by.
If so, which tool or plugin would you use?
I argue that this procedure would be primarily for didactic purposes.

You could separate the left and right tracks using Split Stereo Track, see: Splitting and Joining Stereo Tracks - Audacity Manual

Then use Effects > Tremolo: Sine, 0, 90, 0.5Hz for the left track
… and Effects > Tremolo: Sine, 180, 90, 0.5Hz for the right track.

but I prefer Trebor’s solution…
