Which format is good, without loosing the quality of sound but it also take less space? If we convert any audio format file to m4a format. Please provide your valuable suggestions.
FLAC is a lossless format, and typically about half the size of a WAV file (same quality as WAV).
Lossy formats such as OGG and MP3 loose a bit of quality, but save a lot of space. High bit rates (higher than 128 kbps) minimise the losses. 256 kbps is considered to be “transparent” (no noticeable loss of sound quality).
