I've used Repair quite a lot. I don't find it necessary to select to zero crossing points. Generally I just zoom in close on a click, roughly select it, and Repair. When applying to multiple clicks, Ctrl+R (repeat last effect) is useful. It is annoying when I accidentally select 129 samples :x

I've been playing with iterating the affect across a longer selection. Unfortunately the results overall are not great. It looks like it could work quite well in the specific case of repairing clipping, but for other types of damage, such as a series of clicks, it tends to just spread the damage at a lower level across the region (not good).
