Is there such a thing as Soundflower for Windows?
Soundflower is the Mac tool that installs the "recording from the computer" sound pathways that Mac never had, and Windows machines are losing. It may have changed from the last time I used it, but it didn't do anything else. It was simple.
Total Recorder is money-based software.
I have a licenses for Wire Tap Pro which I will not be doing again. It's turning into a production nightmare of odd tools -- and worse -- losing its original purpose.

Re: Windows Soundflower??
"Total Recorder" is the obvious, but non-free answer.
Other non-free answers include "Virtual Audio Cable" and "ReWire".
A free offering that I've recently come across but not yet tried: "VAcard" http://www.datanab.com/audio/VAcard.htm
