photoshop lets you use the mouse to adjust sliders as well as to enter any value from the keyboard. also lets you click on an entry box and move the value by units of 1 using the arrows.
i cannot get the playback speed to 1.00 with the mouse. I get a lot of 0.98 1.05 1.02 0.95 or more extreme values. It would be much easier to have a photoshop like method that avoids the mouse issues.
in the recoreding level i can only get it to go by 0.2 0.4 0.6 0.8 and 1.0. it would be nice to have intermediate values and better yet to see them in db not a raw number. i know how many db i need to adjust, anything else is a guessing game of trial and error.
ditto for selections in the blue track -- yes folks say the arrows do it but they do NOT do anything on my pc.
so please lets consider easier ways to adjust our selections wherever they are.
enter values from keyboard
Re: enter values from keyboard
Double-clicking any of the main (if not all) slider knobs will open a dialog with keyboard entry for the value giving extremely fine control. I may be way off-base here, but keyboard movement might be difficult to achieve as the toolbars do not maintain focus so the program would not know to what to apply the keypress.
