After download and installation of Audacity on a new PC (Win10) I wanted to convert a wma file into mp3.
It seems that handling wma files has been withdrawn, because of patent regulations for wma files.
Is that new since last year? My previous Audacity installation was in 2016 on Win8.1.
Or did I miss something at installation time??
(I have done this conversion many times with previous versions of Audacity!)

Sounds like you forgot to install something called FFmpeg into Audacity, that's required to play WMA files, see ...Paulac wrote:... did I miss something at installation time??
