The end of the Phase Jump problem

I've just tested the forum permissions and as far as I can tell they appear to be working correctly, so I think you should see an Edit button DickN. You may need to clear your web browser cache for the change to be seen in older posts.

I have a vague recollection of this "issue" being created purposefully (a long time ago) to combat topic threads becoming nonsense when users edited old posts. Generally it is much preferred that new or updated information is provided in a new post and not by editing an old post.
