Webinar on Audacity for screen reader users and others

Post by andrewd » Wed May 14, 2014 11:37 am

EASI (Equal Access to Software and Information) is a not for profit organisation. I have benefited from many of their webinars and am about to make the move from participant to presenter. Having enjoyed Audacity for some years, I am scheduled to present a webinar on Audacity. Emphasis will be on screen reader access, but I will point out its ready availability to a broad variety of people. I will be using a screen reader to control Audacity during the session and output from both Audacity and the screen reader will be heard by participants (well, that's my hope).
The webinar is scheduled for 16 May in the US at 11am California time, 1pm Central and 2pm Eastern. That translates to 1800GMT if I've worked it out correctly and, unfortunately, 4am on 17 May in Sydney Australia where I am. If anyone is interested, see http://easi.cc/clinic to register.

Thanks, Andrew.

Have you posted this to the Audacity4Blind list ( http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Audac ... users#docs )?
